Basil Peach Gelato

The picture is no good but the gelato was outstanding. This one is a mix of basil, peach and cinnamon. The second scoop is ginger gelato. When you’re in Italy you will see a lot of gelateria but you generally can tell the good ones by the addition of non-traditional flavors such as this one. When you do find one, make sure you try a few flavors. Gelati like this one are the reasons why people swoon over gelato in Italy and say there’s no comparision elsewhere (and they are correct).
